The Griffin Clickers
So, here marks the end of another successful season with The Griffin Clickers.
The demontrations this year have been excellant, and everybody has worked extremly hard to make the shows as good as they can be.
In spite of the long break we had between seasons, everything 'clicked' into place for us and all went well.
Dog training is still continuing at the three venues and during the year we have seen vast improvments with each dog in the club, which is thanks to the dedicated trainers that come to our sessions without giving up.
Since the demonstrations have finished this year, the team are already making changes and coming up with new ideas to make the shows better than before.
We have had a couple of people join us this year which has been very nice, and we are sure they will make huge contribibutions so we are glad to have them aboard.
Our show on 18th September at Bosworth Battlefeild for Thomas raised an impressive £455. We are extremly grateful to everybody who came and helped; wether it was running a stall, watching over the doggy fun and games, or putting hands in the pockets and buying something.
The weather needs a mention too, as it was suprisingly on our side. Also, the fact that we didn't have a full team that day did not deter us; we still put on a very good show and our audience seemed impressed.
We wish the family the best of luck the future and hope everything goes well for them.
After the hauntings of Halloween are finished, Christmas time will soon be upon us. Already, many of us are suffering the unbearable dilemma of what we should eat for our Chrsitmas dinner. We are looking forward to enjoying celebrating the festivities with each other, as that's what this time of year is all about.
Once again, everybody - without excepetion - has worked very hard this year in making everything a success. And it has not gone unnoticed.
"Footprints on the sands of time are not made by sitting down."
"And a big Thank You to everyone that have supported us"
New life and new beginnings, onward and upward.
